Poison Ivy
Mackenzie got into some Poison Ivy somewhere and had a severe allergic reaction to it. It started as a small rash behind this ear and as you can see spread all over her ear, face, neck and chest in just a few days. Here you can see that her ear has swelled up. I took her to the doctor and they gave her liquid sterroids to take. Wow, has anyone ever seen a 5 year old on sterroids? It's quite entertaining! She was literally bouncing off the walls! As in running into them because she was going so fast! She was talking to herself and having "races." She has a little tricycle that's for a two year old where the pedals are too small for her legs so she was foot pedaling that thing up and down the driveway and sidewalks over and over! Needless to say, she crashed pretty hard tonight! (I hate poison ivy)Tuesday, April 24, 2007
Mack, Alexis & Tristan
Mackenzie's cousin Alexis came to visit last weekend. She lives in Morrilton. They are two peas in a pod and have been since they were babies! Alexis is a year and a half older than Mackenzie. She got a new baby sister when she was 5 too! So her and Mackenzie both are big sissies. They played and played and spent the night in Mack's tent all snuggled up together. On Saturday, Brad and I got a truck-load of dirt for the front flower bed and when the it was still in the back of his mom's truck, the girls decided that huge pile of dirt was the perfect place to play! They also decided it would be a good idea to put a ball up in the tail pipe of the truck and of course it got stuck so luckily Sheila got it out by just starting the truck and it popped out.garden
At our new house our yard has no landscaping what-so-ever so it's up to Brad and I to do the dirty (and I mean DIRTY) work! This is the beginnings of some gardens and beds we are putting in on the side yard in the back by the patio.

We went to the Jones Center to go swimming tonight. Mackenzie and her Daddy had so much fun! They went down the big slide twice! (Mommy and Tristan watched)

Max
This is my friend Leslie's dog Max and his snuggle buddy. Leslie's husband Bay shot and killed this bear and they had it turned into a rug. Right now it's on the back of an arm chair and that's Max's spot!

Leslie's B-day
Tomorrow (Apr 2) is my best friend Leslie's birthday. We went over to their house today for a BBQ and that means Mackenzie gets to play with all the kids! Here are Mackenzie, Tristan, Jonathan, Aliyah, Tayler and Tyler.
