Nana

My mom came over tonight. We watched HGTV, ate dinner and had ice cream. Mackenzie took these pictures of her Nana with Tristan.

Tristan

Look at Tristan balancing himself up on his arms and holding his head up like a big boy! :)

Mack & Tristan

Mackenzie was hanging out on the couch and Tristan was being good so I laid him next to Mackenzie and he just stared at her! I had to take a picture, it was so cute! He loves his big sissy. (Hey girls, do you recognize her dress? She wears that to play in.)

Jack

The black cat in the picture is our neighbors cat. He comes and goes as he pleases. He hangs out with Markie and Stripes on the porch or sometimes he curls up on one of the patio chairs. As you can see, Markie doesn't mind him one bit! He finally let me and Mackenzie pet him the other day. Mackenzie of course had to name him (gee, I wonder where she got that from:) so she calls him Jack.

Mackenzie's Blog

These are pictures that Mackenzie took all by herself. She wanted to put some of her own in the photo blog. This is what she has to say about them: "Here's my special dog. And my helping sleeping flower light. That kangaroo was mine and I liked to take a picture of it in the baby swing. That cup was special and I don't know where we go it so I like it very much. Thank you. I thought we got it at a garage shell. I have a baby brother and his name is Tristan Alan and he has a much lot stuff and when you change his diaper it smells really stinky and I love him very much thank you. Oh and when he grows up then I want him to play basketball. Thank You."

Piggies

Look! I found little Piggies!

Mack's Tree

Here is Mackenzie with her very own tree. It is a Dwarf Peach Tree. We will watch it grow as she does.

Tristan

And here is the reason I was even up at 9:00 AM!
Mr. bright eyed and bushy tailed!

Mackenzie

Good morning Mackenzie! Wake up sleepy head!
This was taken this morning at about 9:00AM

Seedlings

Here are some of our seedlings that have really just came out in the past 3 days. These are all flowers. Brad and Mackenzie planted these. He said that Mackenzie just kind of scattered a mixture of seeds everywhere (as you can see.)

Stroller

Yes, this is my 5 year old daughter in a baby stroller!

Seeds

Here are our seeds that we planted. This was the first day. I'll keep an update as to when they grow. We planted flowers and some vegetables in this one. The weather is getting nicer and Brad and I are have been itching to do some yard work at our new house. We went to Atwood's in Siloam Springs and bought 3 trees; a Bradford Pear which has pretty white blossoms on it right now, a Red Oak, and a Dwarf Peach tree for Mackenzie because it has pink blossoms on it right now. We also got some mulch, lawn fertilizer, weed killer, top soil, some canna bulbs and tomato plant stakes.

Puppies

Our next door neighbors Basset Hound had puppies. There is a divot under the fence and Mackenzie likes to stick her arm under the fence and pet the puppies and let them lick her! They are so cute, they try to get under the fence to play with her but their bodies are too big so they just poke their little noses under and watch us to see what's going on.

Sunset

This is my photo for yesterday that I didn't get a chance to post. It's the pretty sunset taken from my backyard.

Going to the Circus

Tonight we went to the L.E. Barnes & Bailey Bothesrs Circus. We all had so much fun, especially Mackenzie! She absolutely loved it! Brad got free tickets for all of us to go from McDonald's. It was held at the Fayetteville fairgrounds. There was an elephant, tigers, white horses, and a monkey. There were acrobats, clowns, motocycles riding in the "sphere of fear." I was irritated because they announced that we were not allowed to take any photos or video, but I snapped some anyway without the flash. We also enjoyed our $4 cotton candy, $3 diet coke, $2 peanuts, $2 balloon (that popped 10 minutes later,) and the $6 light up sword toy, not to mention the wet butt I had gotten from some kid spilling their drink. (Seeing the excitement in my daughter's face....priceless.) Brad had Tristan in the front-load carrier back-pack thing (whatever it's called) and he was asleep most of the time! Afterward we went out to Braum's for ice cream, a perfect ending to our night.

Tree in the Window

I took this picture because it's what I look at every day as I sit on the couch, in my favorite spot, numerous times a day, feeding my son his bottle. The house is quiet and still. I wonder what this tree will look like when spring and summer comes. This is our first year here so I wouldn't know. I'll bet it's beautiful!

Mackenzie

Mackenzie is my little model! She loves posing for pictures. We went to the park today and I loved the way her hair looked after we got home.

Tristan & Mackenzie

These are our children! Our 5 year old daughter Mackenzie and our 1 month old son Tristan. I like this picture because Mackenzie is actually smiling for real instead of a fake smile. ( I guess that would be my fault that she's learned to do that.) They're my cuties!

Our House

Despite the date on this photo it was actually taken yesterday (3-6-07). My sister had asked me to take pictures of our new house (also our first house) so she could see what it looks like. Her husband is in the Army and they live in Arizona. We've lived here almost 2 months.
